Receiver must be your friend
You can only send a parcel to someone on your friend list. Both people must accept the friend request — so the parcel never goes to a stranger. The person carrying it can be a friend, mutual friend or verified local; the person receiving it is always someone you know.

Post your parcel
Add photos, weight, size, pickup and drop addresses, and what you'd like to pay. Choose the receiver from your friend list — parcels only go to people you already know.
Get matched
Friends, mutual friends and verified locals going that way get a notification. Chat in the app, agree on a price, then pay into the app. Money stays locked till the parcel is delivered.
Handover & track
At pickup the traveller checks the open parcel and takes photos. You track the trip live. Your receiver shares a one-time code to confirm delivery — that unlocks payment for the traveller.

Aadhaar e-KYC
Before the first delivery, we verify government ID, match a live selfie, and complete Aadhaar e-KYC with device binding. Only real people.
Open parcel check
At pickup the parcel stays open. The traveller checks the item against your listing, takes their own photos, then you seal it. They can refuse and cancel with no penalty.
Money locked in the app
You pay the agreed amount in the app — not by cash. The traveller sees the money is there before starting; it unlocks only after delivery is confirmed.
One-time delivery code
Only the receiver sees the secret code. Sharing it with the traveller completes delivery and unlocks withdrawal — proof the parcel reached the right person.
Match through your circle
Travellers reach you via friends, mutual friends or verified locals — not as anonymous strangers. Your receiver must be a confirmed friend.
AI screening & SOS
Listing photos and descriptions are checked for banned items before going live. From pickup to delivery, travellers get an SOS button that shares live location with support.

When will the apps launch?
iOS and Android apps are ready and in final testing. We'll start with one pilot city first, then expand. Join the waitlist above and we'll email you when your city goes live.
What if someone steals my parcel?
Every traveller is Aadhaar-verified with device binding, and they reach you through a connection — not anonymously. Money stays locked in the app until your receiver shares the delivery code. The trip is tracked and photos are taken at pickup. If something is missing or the seal is broken, the receiver can raise a dispute before confirming, which freezes the money until we check.
What if someone tries to send something illegal?
Senders digitally declare what's inside and are responsible for the contents. Photos and descriptions are AI-checked before a listing goes live. At pickup the traveller sees the item before it's sealed and can refuse with no penalty. If anything goes wrong, IDs, declarations, photos and chat help show the traveller acted in good faith.
How much does a delivery cost?
You and the traveller decide together. You suggest an amount when you post; they can accept or suggest another. Chat in the app and agree. ParcelDost charges a flat ₹10 platform fee per delivery — same whether you agree ₹100 or ₹1,000. We don't take a percentage of that delivery amount.
How does payment work?
After you agree a price, the sender pays into the app. Money stays locked for the whole trip — the traveller can see it's there but can't withdraw yet. When the receiver shares the one-time delivery code, the money unlocks and the traveller withdraws to their account. No cash handovers, no "pay later" risk.
Can I send a parcel to anyone?
The receiver must be on your friend list (both sides accept). That way every parcel ends with someone you know. The traveller can be a friend, mutual friend, or verified local going that route.
What if nobody in my circle is going that way?
We also match mutual friends and verified locals nearby who have that trip registered or travel that route regularly. As more people join your city, more routes open up — which is why we launch city by city.
What can't I send?
Illegal items, weapons, flammable or dangerous materials, cash/currency, and anything banned by law. The full list is shown before you post and you must accept it each time. Trying to send a banned item can mean a permanent ban, loss of held funds, and police report where needed.
Can strangers see my phone number or address?
No. Before payment, people only see a name and reputation score. Chat stays inside the app. Full address and phone number are shown only after payment, and only to the people involved in that delivery.
Is my parcel insured?
Optional transit insurance from a partner will be available when you list, based on declared value. Useful for higher-value items.
